Our Annual General Meeting in being held on March 31st at 10 am in Thompson Hall (Room TBD). At this meeting, we will be holding elections for the following executive positions: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Administrator, Events Coordinator, La Cité Collégiale Representative, Algonquin College Representative, and a Representative from Undergraduate Nursing Students Association.

March 18, 2014 Patient-Centred Care
The uOttawa Interprofessional Health Association will be hosting an interactive presentation with guest speaker Alyse Schacter. Alyse is a 22 year old health sciences student at the University of Ottawa. She speaks frequently about the de-stigmatisation of mental illness. The uOttawa Interprofessional Health Association has invited Alyse to speak about her experiences on her journey with obsessive compulsive disorder. She will be speaking about her interactions with health care practitioners and the importance of patient-centred care.

February 13, 2014 IPE 201: Introduction to Interprofessional Teamwork
This event provides students with the opportunity to enhance their IP team meeting and communication skills through the development of a care plan for a case-based patient who has had a stroke. This activity is geared for students who have previously had an introduction to IP definitions, competencies and benefits (e.g. IPE 101).
February 1, 2014 Les jeux interprofessionnels du CNFS
Students in healthcare and social services programs are invited to participate in the 5th Jeux interprofessionnels du CNFS, presented with the CNFS-volet La Cité and its collaborative partners. The goal of this activity is to offer students the opportunity to enhance their interprofessional skills that are essential to improve healthcare collaboration through fun interprofessional activities.
